SABRE I and SABRE Ranger offer SCADA choice

The SABRE™ I Remote and SABRE™ I Ranger BGAN offer contrasting specifications but are both designed to support industry-standard supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) used for unmanned monitoring and maintenance of remote installations.

  • The SABRE™ I Remote is a dual-purpose terminal that can either be installed remotely and used for SCADA, or deployed as a standard portable user terminal for reliable and stable, 24/7 operations and connectivity via the BGAN network.
  • SABRE™ I Remote is fitted inside a SABRE™ Shield enclosure, which has an ingress protection ration of IP67 to withstand extremes of temperature and weather.
  • The SABRE™ Ranger  is solely for use with SCADA and has a ruggedised casing rated at IP65. It is also designed for long-term outdoor all-weather installation and is also configured for reliable and stable BGAN connectivity.
  • There are two versions of the SABRE™ Ranger - one with an inbuilt heater for operation from -40C to +75C. The other, without a heater, can be operated a temperatures between -20C and + 75C.
  • SABRE™ I Remote and SABRE™ Ranger also have common features including data rates of up to 384 kbps and built-in Ethernet, Bluetooth and analog phone interfaces.
